This was for my mothers birthday. Carrot cake with Crusting cream cheese icing. I tried the Melvira method for smoothing, guess I waited a little too long? Any tips on how to smooth cc icing without smoothing the sides off? Thanks.
This is a first attempt at a stacked cake. Four 6" rounds carrot cake with cream cheese icing and choc and fondant accents. Got the idea from somone at this site and another, I am sorry I don't recall who, but thanks for the idea. And thanks for looking.
