I made this cake for my daughter's end of year Chorus party. It's butter cream covered in fondant accents. The fondant accents are "painted" with edible glitter mixed w/vodka. On the top the "graphic" is the school mascot where I added a few musical notes around the head of the Mustang and "Markham Woods Chorus 2008" then printed using my edible printer/paper/ink. The cake was a huge success and there were 160 kids at my house for the party!! Yikes!
Fondant cake. Leather accents. Buckles, hinges, etc. all made by hand. My oldest daughter made the front clasps. The stickers are all made from edible ink/paper. This cake was a "going away" cake for a friend moving from Florida to Alabama. My youngest made a sticker that said "Jaden World" like Disney World using her name. It was really cute!
All flowers were handmade from Fondant.
My friend, Alton loves great vodka...so I created this cake for his birthday. I'm ordering one of those edible printers! I am also a graphic artist, so I created the "label" using Adobe with a Grey Goose bottle sitting in front of me. Not perfect but pretty close! I substitued his name for "FRANCE" on the label to make it more customized. The cake is vanilla with homemade Cream Cheese icing covered w/fondant.
