I was extremely nervous to attempt making a Coach pursecake but I really wanted to make this for my daughter's Sweet 16 this weekend. I still have 2 smaller cakes to make but that's a piece of cake ! lol It took me much longer than I thought. I started at 11am and finished at 7pm! It's the size of a real purse and wallet.The only thing that I need to learn if I make another one is the correct logo design for the sides. I used a template from an actual Coach purse that I printed online and resized big.
This is the top view of the Hollister cake I made for my daughter.
My daughter loves anything by the Hollister store. So for her 15th birthday I made a Hollister polo,shorts,towel,beachbag out of Fondant and some mini magazines and large Fondant flip flops that say Happy 15th Birthday Melissa! My daughter totally loves this cake and I am pleased that it came out the way I imagined it! I also sprinkled lots of brown sugar on top and it looks like real sand.
This was my attempt to make a Yorkie cake topper . This will go on a Boneshaped cake that I'm making for my little yorkie that turns 2 in March! I made the whole thing out of fondant. Took me 3hrs!
