2007 Fair Entry
This cake was my nightmare cake - had to redo it 3 times!! Its 12 10 8 & 6 inch rounds, covered in fondant. Airbrushed a dark purple base for the flowers and then piped over top in BC. Did a brushed embroidery around the flower. I'm actually happy with how it turned out... even though it was a nightmare.

1St Anniversary
This is a cake I made for my brother and his wife's 1st anniversary. I designed it after her wedding dress. Its fondant covered in ivory with white buttercream details and fondant roses (these are reused from a previous display cake I made and then airbrushed them to bring them back to life).

Ivory & Green
This is my first time trying to make an ivory color. I think it turned out okay, only took my a couple of tries - ha ha - and a lot of left over ivory color! Everything's buttercream, except the green is real ribbon. I was wanting to do the green in fondant, but since is for our store display, it would just fade, so I thought I'd go easy on myself this time.

Sister-In-Law's College Graduation Cake
This is my first ALL fondant cake (besides Wilton class cakes). 10" and 6" rounds. Fondant daisies with gold dusted tips and centers. Fondant diploma and grad cap and tassel. Hint: make sure you have the tassel in the right position for the cake when you're making it ahead of time! I learned this today when my tassel was sticking almost straight out! Fortunately a quick zap in the microwave made it a little bendable for me. The diploma and cap are both dusted with pearl dust.
