Oh boy. The naked baked cakes sat on my counter for a day while I decided how I was going to put it together. 2 layer cake, formed with carved sheet cakes and 6 inch rounds. Mostly buttercream, except the white stripes, eyes, nose, mouth, belt and ears (fondant). Eyes, nose and head-thingy are RKT, covered in fondant. This cake turned out WAY better than I thought it would! :o) Mom of the birthday boy loved it. Birthday boy? Eh...he didn't care, he was too busy with his new presents. :o)

A quickie for Easter. I hadn't done basketweave since my Wilton 2 class years ago. I figured out what I was doing wrong when I was just about done with the cake. Oh well, it was for my family, who don't really care about a messed up basketweave!
