Best Of Show - Cupcake Camp 2013
A grown-up cupcake! Tiramisu cupcake baked right in the cup! Chocolate cupcake, lightly soaked with coffee Kaluha blend, topped with a dollop of Kaluha ganache and piped with cheesecake mousse and a sprinkling of cocoa powder and a barely visible dark chocolate leaf. Notes: Bake in hot/cold cups only and decorate after cupcake has cooled :o) Suggestion: Possibilities are endless of course...for a kid's party add less batter and top with a scoop of ice cream before serving!!

Alice In Wonderland
This is my first place entry in a cupcake contest. We could use no more than a dozen cupcakes and everything had to be edible. For some kooky reason I thought of using a diorama setting. The walls are either sprayed or handpainted with food color. The tree trunk, door, clock, leaves and bread and butterflies are fondant. Tree leaves are rice krispies. I particularly liked the Alice-down-the-hole cupcake :o)

My 50Th Birthday Cake
My son (16) and daughter (15) made the cak for my 50th birthday. I couldn't have been more proud!! I knew they were making it but was so amazed at the great job they did. It was red velvet with cream cheese b/c filling, key lime with margarita ganache filling, and yellow with chocolate ganache filling. The best present!!

Champagne Bucket
rice krispy and twinkie bottle covered in fondant...buttercream bucket. This wasmy first champagne cakeand it was already leaning when my customer (thanfully good friend) picked it up...she said by 9:00 it exploded out the back, but that everyone was feeling pretty good by then and they loved it. I made another one since and the same thing happened to it!! Wish I knew how to construct this type of cake better...
