Yikes! Never want to do this one again. I had to come up with something for Star Trek the Next Generation - and I there's no way I'd try to make the actual Enterprise. So I tried to make a "runabout" I think it's called - one of their ships. Chocolate cake with rapsberry buttercream and all fondant. Not exactly what it should be, but it's what I could do.

I had given away the experimental white version and she came back to request a larger version for her office party. 10" tier is white cake with guava buttercream filling, 8" is carrot cake with cream cheese filling, 6" is chocolate with raspberry buttercream filling. Wanted to try a tilted cake - but decided to make a "practice" cake before trying to make one for a customer. This is amaretto and almond (separate layers) with coconut buttercream icing. Not the greatest combinations, but like I said, this was an experimental cake.
My son had a field trip to the fire station, so we brought a cake! It's chocolate with buttercream and fondant - I did the shield after the design at the local fire station. It was a fun cake to make! Wish my photography skills were better :)

Her world melts down into the top of Cinderella's castle, which is in the clouds of Snow White's forest, which rests atop the Little Mermaid's world under the sea.
