Toilet Paper Cake
I took this idea from venecakes to make for a 40th birthday. I loved venecakes cake, but unfortunately I'm not crazy about mine, but it was a learning experience as I don't work with fondant much. Thought this would be fairly easy but had problems with bulging, I think I just had too much filling ~ live and learn. I know you can still see the toothpicks as I was trying to get the fondant to harden where the TP was hanging. This was also a first on molding a person from fondant.

Preschool Graduation
Preschool graduation cake, they wanted fun and colorful, hopefully I did that. I don't work with fondant much but gave it a whirl on this cake with all the stars and the 3 kids (the middle one is my son). Top layer is caramel (the cake scraps were yummy and gone in a heartbeat), middle is chocolate and bottom layer is french vanilla.

First Doll Cake
Here is my attempt at a doll cake. Made this for my nieces 6th birthday who is very much into Barbie's Bottom layer is french vanilla and the cake the doll is in is torted 2 times with creamy chocolate filling. For a first I'm pretty happy with how this turned out without any complications.

Pablo Birthday Cake
French vanilla cake, oreo filling, rolled buttercream accents and FBCT, used sparkle dust on balloons. Aack, this cake gave me problems from the get-go ~ transfer broke 3 times, couldn't get me lettering way I wanted, ended up with smudges of blue on the white icing, stuck finger accidentally in cake, BUT I finally finished it

Made this over the weekend for a 40th Anniversary. The bottom layer is 2 layer torted to make 4 layers with chocolate BC filling. The top layer is 2 layer again filled with chocolate BC. This was the first time making fondant roses and drape. Second time trying a fondant bow. Pearls are not edible. The family loved it and I have gotten 2 more orders out of this cake.

Preschool Graduation
My son's preschool was having a graduation for 3 kids that were gratuating to kindergarten. Its vanilla cake with BC icing and my 1st time ever using fondant. The cap is 1/2 ball pan covered in fondant and I made the top by covering a piece of cardboard in fondant. Tassle is fondant too. I was really excited how this turned out and the preschool LOVED not only the look but raved about the taste of the cake.
