This is my Gingerbread House for 2014. It is based on a 3d Fantasy Villa Puzzle. The house is 19 1/2" x 15" and is made from gingerbread glued together with isomalt and iced with royal icing. The Christmas tree is made from an ice cream cone covered in royal "pine needles" with dragee ornaments. The tree has tiny lights attached that fade off and on. Gingerbread house is approx. 15" tall and 13" wide. Baked goods, signs, and planters are made from gumpaste. Wrought iron is made from royal icing. Windows are made from isomalt but I couldnt get it clear so I left the front windows open! My dad made the template for this house and is the mastermind behind the elaborate construction! There are two night lights that light up the bay windows and one large light for the rest of the house. Took about a week and a day to make... whew...Thanks for looking!
