This was for my niece's baby shower. 10" WASC with butter cream and fondant accents topped by a 6" square chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream. Blanket is fondant/gumpaste mix and edge of blanket is painted with luster dust. The baby is porcelin.
This is a 16" WASC, 11" Chocolate, and 6" WASC - my largest cake to date. Cake is covered in buttercream with fondant striping, royal numbers, gumpaste bow and roses. Thanks to the SPS, I was able to deliver this assembled and undamaged after a 2 hour drive.

I copied a napkin to make Elmo's face and when I stepped back to look at it, all I could see is Elmo wearing glasses. Oh, well ... they liked it.

This is a sweet 16 birthday cake for a girl having a "black and white" party. Everything was black and white and guests were to wear JUST black and white. The cake was made to match the invitation and flowers are made of fondant and black royal icing. Cake is a 10" and 6" WASC with classic butter cream. The "16" was placed on top of the cake after delivery. I don't have a picture with it on top as my friend delivered the cake for me. (SPS still rocks in my opinion!).
This was for my MIL's 65th surprise b-day party. 12" WASC, 10" Chocolate, 8" French Vanilla covered in butter cream with fondant and royal icing accents. The records have some of Elvis' top singles with years recorded on the labels. The back of the middle tier has an Elvis "autograph" on it, surrounded by music notes. The top is a royal icing picture of Elvis in Jail House Rock. The party was complete with an impersonator for entertainment.
This was for a baby shower at our church. I had the design all picked out and then was thrown a slight curve ball -- the only plates they could get were bright blue and yellow. I added the darker blue to the cake and the rubber ducky and called it a day. :)
This is a replacement cake to the 50th Anniversary tiered cake in my photos -- my first and hopefully last cake disaster. It's a 10" Strawberry Sour Cream cake with butter cream, fondant ribbon and gold luster/gel brushed embroidery. This, along with the 11x17 DL 50th Anniversary sheet cake in my photos replaced the damaged cake originally made, also in my photos.
This is a replacement cake to my cake disaster (50th Anniversary tiered cake in my photos). It's 11x17 double layer WASC with butter cream. Flowers/bow are fondant. I replaced the tiered cake with this and a 10" round strawberry cake (going into photos next). The family that orderecd was so happy I could make good on a disaster, they gave me a generous tip, that was just short of the original cake price ... which they also paid! Wow! Makes up for a lot of other customers!!!!
This is my first big cake disaster. Unfortunately, this needed to be delivered on what I later found out was like a rollar coaster road. When I opened the back of my car, it had collapsed. The people that ordered offered to buy the bottom tier (1/2 crushed) while I go make more cake. Was delivered the day before the party, so I had a little time to spare for them ... none for me, though. :(

This is a 9" Chocolate and 6" White for a baby shower. The cake was made to match the mother to be's nursery bedding she picked out. - Down Under by Mantex. Kangaroo Mama and Baby are fondant, with everything else buttercream.
This was a last minute order - 9" WASC w/ American Butter Cream. FBCT of Littlest Pet Shop monkey, that I wasn't patient enough with (didn't let it freeze all the way through, so it stuck in places on the wax paper. Turns out if I was patient, it would have taken a lot less time! Oh, well .... they loved it anyway.
Cocolate cake with Butter Cream ... Jiminy is a FBCT. Pearl dust was painted on the stars. Made for someone's birthday who's about ready to leave for Walt Disney World. Lucky them!!!!
WASC with Creme Brulee flavored butter cream, royal flower decorations. The birthday girl piced out some of her favorite wrapping paper and I made the cake to match it.
Chocolate on chocolate with neon fondant flowers/leaves.
9" WASC with all Butter Cream in a cheetah print and 6" Chocolate with Butter Cream and Black chocolate fondant stripes. Rope boarders, ribbons and stars are all done in fondant. Year was done in Royal. The girl this was for didn't want a typical graduation cake and didn't even want the school colors. It was a cake that truly reflected her personality ... I'm glad she loved it!
12" WASC, 9" Chocolate, 6" WASC with butter cream and chocolate fondant ribbon. Roses and leaves are fondant as well. This was my first 3 tiered cake, first wedding type cake -- I'm just glad it was actually for their bridal shower. So many weird things happened with this, a lot of lessons learned!
This is a birthday cake for an avid morel mushroom hunter. WASC cake with BC. Mushrooms and lady bugs are fondant.
