1St Tiered Cake
This is my first tiered cake and my first fondant bow. Each tier is four alternating layers (white, chocolate, white, chocolate) with chocolate filling between each layer. Covered in buttercream with fondant bow and fondant flowers. It was for my daughter's and nieces combined 9th birthday party (thus the abstract 9 in the scrolls).

This was a quick one - Lemon cake with cream cheese frosting. It was so humid the frosting wouldn't thicken up for roses and I didn't have time or patience to let them set up before moving them to the cake. I wasn't going to take a picture as I was dissappointed in it, so I just plopped the cake cover on and crushed some of the boarder. Afterwards I decided to take a picture anyway, thinking future stuff would look that much better next to this!

Tim's Birthday Cake
A lot was learned on this. I used my buttercream for everything except for the chocolate rosettes, scrolling and lettering - for that I used left over store bought frosting used on my daughter's cupcakes for school. I did the scrolling work first and when I got to do rosettes and lettering, the store bought frosting was melting in my hot hands!
