I made this for my husband's Change of Command ceremony. It served 120 people and traveled 6 hours in the car! Since I was traveling, I used the chocolate shards around the side to protect it. Also, it was the best looking cake on the inside - tuxedoed with chocolate & vanilla layers and Oreo filling.
I made this for my son's 4th birthday. We put some animal candles on the top for him to blow out. I got ALL these great ideas from other users on CC. The back of the cake is a waterfall with candy rocks. It's butter cream and Toba's fondant (which I tried for the first time, instead of MMF). I also used scrumptious cake flavors that I found in the forum - banana with Nutella filling and chocolate with a chocolate chip cookie as filling. Cakecentral is the greatest! Thanks for all the wonderful ideas!
This is my son's favorite show. The other day I made these while he napped, for a suprise. He loved them. I'll probably make them again, for his 4th birthday, when I have some more time to perfect them. This is for all the other Peep fans! :)
I tried these after the square ones, just to see if they looked better. I still like the square better. Perhaps if I had longer than just a few minutes, I could perfect the faces. My son still ate them - ha!

Italian Cream cake for a baby shower

This is a red velvet cake I did for the teachers' Autumn birthday celebration. The leaves are fondant and the rest is butter cream. I used the same stencil as I did on last year's Autumn cake (in my gallery). I think it's a good stencil to use with the leaves and such. Who knows?
The mommy-to-be wanted an Italian Cream cake for her "bar themed" baby shower. The colors were blue and brown and they were playing lots of games with martini glasses. The pecans worked well with the colors. I got the silhouette idea from all the wonderful cakes here at CC (although I made her with short hair). Thanks!!
The last, but certainly not least, college football cookies of the weekend. The longhorns are 7 inches long. They are NFSC with Rhondas MMF.

She wanted this cake to match her little girl's dress. It is a white cake with fresh strawberry filling, WBH BC and fresh strawberries on the sides. The strawberry on top is made of RBC. It's strawberry season!
Top tier is vanilla with fresh strawberry filling. The bottom is white chocolate raspberry. I have little dragees on the cake, but you can't see them very well in this photo. Her colors are white and this peachy color -which is what is on the chocolate covered strawberries. Thanks for looking.
For a kindergarten class. NFSC with RI
This was another bouquet I did for the Christian school auction. I was struggling to come up with a "just because" bouquet, so I threw this together at the last minute. It actually got twice as many bids as the sailboat/lighthouse bouquet (in my gallery). I think all the sweet designs made people hungrier....

The Christian school wanted an inspirational cookie bouquet for their silent auction. The lighthouses are 6 inch cookies, so it's the biggest bouquet I've ever done. This picture was taken before I tissue papered and bagged everything, so the stems look naked -- sorry.
This was a tray I did for a Spurs party. There are cookies, Oreos and truffles.
My first cake disaster - as written in the forum. White cake with fresh raspberry filling. The cookies (NFSC w/ RI) are little cupcakes that matched the theme - for giveaways.
