Classic White cake mix with a cake extender.. BC icing and some sugar sprinkles.. Hat, scarf, eyes, mouth, nose and buttons are made of fondant.
BC icing.. French Vanilla cake.. This could have came out better, but was short on time.. Although the cute angel I put together took away from the cake and did not notice all the improvements it needed.. So everyone loved it!
I was browsing my pictures and found this cake I made for my son's 1 birthday.. This was a picture of a picture.. I don't have a scanner that is why it is blurry.. I had no idea what I was doing making this cake.. I just made some round cakes, set them on there sides and starting carving..LOL now that I found CC, I know next time to use wondermold or freeze the cake when carving.. Practice, Practice, Practice!

I seen a cake similar to this in a Wilton Book.. Thought I would give it a try..(Not exact).. spice cakes stacked and carved.. Iced in BC, covered in Fondant and using diamond impression mat.. Red part is MMF. Everything else is Fondant.
Thanks to mamafrogscakes she let me use her idea on this cake.. Marble cake, BC icing, BC clouds, fondant moon and stars.. Pixie dust to make it sparkle.. I used a cake extender, this cake was huge!

I am going to make 14 mini doll cakes for a Quince next month. I was practicing on the bottom part. I didn't have the mini doll head and used a bratz doll. It did not do this cake any justice. OH well, I am pleased with the bottom.

Corona Bottle made from a loaf pan. (white cake mix) covered in fondant, MMF and also used food writers. Sheet cake 1/2 chocolate and 1/2 white with buttercream icing.

This is my second attempt on basket weave. This is very time consuming.. This was a chocolate cake with buttercream icing.. First time (trying) to make MMF roses too..
I tried to do a replica of a "wedding dress cake" I've seen on other cake sites. The top of the dress is fondant with pearls.. Bottom dress is MMF. I also used pearl dust. I think I will try this again soon, it was alot of fun. Maybe next time I will try the actual "wedding dress". Thanks For Looking!

Well, this is actually my second one. The other one went into the trash.. The first one looked more like lucille ball than marilyn monroe..hehe Tres leches, BCT and whipped cream icing..
