"Hamilton" is an awesome newish Broadway musical about the life of Alexander Hamilton. I've fallen in love with the show and the soundtrack and decided to make myself a birthday cake featuring the show. Cake is 6" bottom tier with a 4" top tier. Covered in fondant with fondant accents. Top tier was painted with different colors of gel coloring mixed with vodka to achieve the colors of the logo.

Birthday girl's favorite character from the show is Kurt so I highlighted his name in the front of cake and included music sheet of song he performed. Also included on cake..a slushie cup, a cheerleader's jersey, Sue's Journal, pom-pom, megaphone, and a newspaper announcing Glee's Sectionals win. TFL!

I did manage to prop up the little blonde dancer after the picture was taken so she wouldn't list to the side so much. I wasn't all together pleased with the way the cake came out, but the customer seemed to like it as did her children, the step dancers :)
Bride wanted a very traditional cake with roses cascading down the cake. She also wanted fondant replicas of her kitties to grace the top of the cake. This is what I came up with. White cake w/ BC and MMF accents. Used a mold for the baby's face. The bow is enormous and overpowers the cake, I think..but hopefully, they'll enjoy it.
Made for my daughter for her 1st birthday party. BC icing with fondant accents. I copied pattern from cake board paper and continued on side of cake. My fondant figure still looks a little strange, but it was the best I could do. Thanks for looking!!
All white cake, BC icing with fondant accents. Customer said her child's interests were her Sidekick cell phone and her ipod so I made both from fondant. Painted with luster dust.
Thanks to fiasmama for the inspiration with her wonderful purple cake! Cake is 10", 8", 6" and 4". 4" is cake dummy with crystals on wires. Cakes are WASC with Toba Garrett's Chocolate Buttercream (YUM!). Covered in Satin Ice fondant. Accents painted with luster dust and lemon extract.
