This was my first little wedding cake of the year (only my second one ever). I had a few mishaps and its definitely not my favorite cake but I haven't heard anything negative so I guess they liked it alright.

This was my first try at a green tea cupcake with raspberry filling and almond icing. I did it for a friend who really likes them. I think in the future I'll decorate them differently.
This was for my 3 year old's birthday. It was my first carved cake. I took ideas from different cakes on this site. I had a good time doing it and I was pretty happy with the outcome. I learn so much every time I do a cake!
WASC with Buttercream
This was my husband's rendition of the Daily Planet from Superman. He sketched it and I put it into cake. I learned lots and lots with this cake. The planet on top is rice krispies covered in fondant and gumpaste with royal icing letters.

This is a dummy I made for practice. It was my first time using the imprint mat. I absolutely hate icing dummies! I just threw a couple of flowers from my garden on the top because that's what I had.
