Buttercream Wedding Cake With Gum Paste Flowers
This is actually a dummy cake I did a bridal show. I wanted to put out a textured buttercream cake to show brides how pretty it can be. I used the fake buttercream (warning, do it outside, the smell of the stuff is nasty till lit dries) I used odd and end flowers I had around

Snowman Cake
This was for a christmas birthday. The theme was snow, but the little boy wanted cars as part of it. So I made alittle fondant cars to go with it. The trees are made of candy melts from a mold, and then dusted with pearl. The snowman is freehand fondant/gumpaste (50/50) also dusted, and the presents are as well. All dusted with pearl to give it a shiny look.

Castle Cake
This cake is from two ovals and one 6 inch round. I just did a single oval and stacked them and covered them both with fondant. Then i placed the 6 inch and added the stairs, etc. The turrets are made of pasttelage and the tops are fondant. The horse and carriage I did from a template in pasttelage and then royal icing. Dusted everything.

Fall Wedding Cake
I got this wedding very short notice, (about a month) and they wanted gum paste flowers. I discovered that you cannot find pre-made fall gumpaste flowers! I found using the daisy cutter and stretching the gum paste a little with the dresen tool made very nice mums...as a matter of fact, I used my good old daisy cutter for all the flowers, except the runners, which I used a little petal cutter. Once I figured it out, the flowers went quickly. I was very happy to find the right color dust too!

Fire Truck
I made this truck with 5 6 x 2 pans, (Stack two at each end and one in the middle) covered with red stars (hands were red for days too! hahaha) I raised the truck up a little by using plastic pillars cut small and hot glued to the board and the board the truck was sitting on. I liked it better then using stryofoam blocks to raise it.

Jack O Lantern
I place a 8 inch and 10 inch and then 8 inch again, and skewered. I carved the cake to the shape of the pumpkin and then some ridges in it. I also took some that had a little tylose c added to it and let it harden a little. Then I crumbed it in the orange fondant, so it would have bumps and covered the cake. I prefer stacked cakes instead of bundt..is more solid and you get more filling!

White Bow Cake
This is actually a christianing cake. Hexagon cakes with fondant takes a lot of patience in getting the corners right. The bows were just loops of gum paste that I let dry and did the draps seperately. The Monogram is made from candy melts What a pain the wazoo those where! I wish I could find an easier way of doing monograms! If anyone knows, PM me!

Fall Wedding
Classic buttercream cake, classic white cake. I did the scroll work with a little piping gel with the buttercream, made it much easier. The pillars are push pillars that I cut down a little. The leaves are made with plastic leaves and the flowers are real. The florist really went overboard with the flowers, I thought was going to bury the cake! haha! Just a simple classic wedding cake.

Sunflower Wedding Cake
This bride wanted a picnic type fun cake, with sunflowers. It is a carrot cake (which was interesting to make into a whimsical cake..I ground the nuts up a little finer so I could cut easier) The sunflowers I used Nicholas Lodges new cutters..I highly recommend his Sunflower dvd. You will need about three days to make them (mainly for drying times) but they are VERY easy! The petal cutters are one piece now and the leaves use a silcon veiner. (its a kit you buy) I sprayed everything with edible shelac.
