Autumn's Wedding Cake!
This cake was for Autumn's (a co-worker) wedding. The tiers are vanilla and chocolate, filled and covered with buttercream, with Fondant on the outside. There were also two 12 X 16 sheetcakes since there were over 200 guests. I used Royal Icing for the swirls, line accents, and to hold on the silver dragees on top (to match the silver "Z" for the top accent). Thank goodness for ribbon -- I used it to "bridge the gap" between layers! It was fun, and the bride loved it!

Horse-Themed Cake For Employee
This cake was done for an employee who was leaving the company -- she loves horses. It's a 12 X 18 vanilla cake, 3" high, all buttercream icing and filling. The horses and fencing are plastic toys (didn't have time or skills to make them from chocolate -- maybe next time!!)

2006 Mardi Gras Office Party
I just did this cake for an event at my office for the Executive Admins. Hopefully, this will spark interest in having me do some more of their event cakes! We'll have to see -- my fingers are crossed!! It's buttercream iced and filled, the top tier vanilla and the bottom chocolate, with fondant accents.

Wedding_1_Sm.jpg
This was my first wedding cake, done this past October for a friend's sister. It's 4 tiers, which I had to transport 5 hours to the wedding (I was also a guest) and build there. The layers are Chocolate, Vanilla and "choc/vanil" mixture of both. with buttercream filling and icing with fondant on top of it all.
