Client emailed me a pic of the paper plates she was using and gave me creative license. The topper is the same as the center of the plate. Rest of plate was pink and white striped. Lemon pound cake with raspberry buttercream filling. Fondx fondant and gumpaste accents.

Cake for the inauguration ceremony for mayor today, 1-4-10. It was a priviledge to make! I went by City Hall and asked for a copy of the city seal--thought that would make a nice cake since they gave me free reign on the design. Pleased with the outcome. Fondant covered w/gumpaste accents. 2nd picture is the actual city seal. TFL
