I made these for my daughter's 2nd Birthday. Just a basic sugar cookie with an amazing frosting. It melted in your mouth. 2.5 c powdered sugar, 1 stick of butter, 1 tsp vanilla, and 3 TBS. Milk. Just dump everything together and mix. Great speadable icing.
Cake made for my dad who has been a patient of a foot doctor for 6 years. He has PVD and has large leg ulcers. This dr. has helped my dad greatly and my dad wanted to celebrate their time together!!! LOL Just a white cake with buttercream frosting. I used a recipe I found for rolled buttercream fondant, but I think I should have added more sugar, the fondant was really not fondant consistancy, but I made it work for the foot prints.

3 tiered cake, buttercreme frosting. I used all artificial flowers, mini ribbon roses for the tops of the swags, a cluster of flowers for the middle opening, and long sticks of flowers around the bottom. The sliver beads are just pre-strung beads. I didn't do very good on the frost job, but my parents were thrilled.
I got the idea from Wilton's website. Its made in the butterfly pan and the frog has a cookie face. Just a chocolate cake with my trusty buttercream frosting. I tried really hard, doesn't look exactly like the Wilton's example, but I tried.
My FH and I are both firefighters on two separate fire departments. For his 25th birthday, I made this cake. It was my first "shaped figure"cake pan. I didn't realize how hard getting the windows and such would be. He absolutely loved it. Now he wants me to make one for "hose testing" days and summer get togethers with his fire department.

This was my first attempt at a multi-layer cake. The top layer was for my daughter and the bottom two layers were for the other guests. I used an actual fish in the bottom layer in a glass bowl.
