Partridge And Pear Cookies
This design was based on one in the Fancy Flours catalog. I fell in love with the picture and just had to have the cutter. Bought it last year, but this was the first time I've made them. They were part of an assortment that I used for teacher gifts for the holidays. I boxed them individually with clear tops and attached a dunkin donuts gift card.

Halloween Stencil Cookies
Made these for my daughter's school Halloween party. Wanted to try the stencil technique on cookies after seeing the ones done by cookiemookie. They were a huge hit! Cookies are covered in RI, then once dry I applied the black RI using assorted Halloween stencils. I use antonia74's RI.

Elmo Cake
This was done for a little boys 2nd birthday. Not a replica but, the design was inspired by a cake done by CC member spottydog. I used the bear pan with a little carving to get the shape I wanted for Elmo. The bottom is an 8". Iced in bc with fondant accents. The accents on the side are blocks that spell out the birthday boy's name.

Bottle Of Red, Bottle Of White
This was for a surprise 40th birthday cocktail party - for a person who loves wine. I did a cocktails on ice cookie display for favors to go with this as well. This was my first attempt at a bottle and with covering the board with fondant. I'm pretty happy with the turnout. lots of room for improvement though. The grapes and cheese are fondant.

Olympic Cake
Made this for a picnic we are going to today. The family has this picnic every year coinciding with the Olympics - they have games and all! Globe done using the sports ball pan, covered in marbled blue fondant with the countries in green. Fondant Olympic rings on all 4 sides of the 10" cake, with larger ones in the front. The awards podium is made out of rice krispie treats covered in fondant. Fondant ribbon/gumpaste medal brushed in gold luster dust.

Princess Cake
This was for twin girls turning 3. Their favorite princesses are Belle (yelllow) and Sleeping Beauty/Aurora (pink). Crown is made out of royal icing with colored dragees for "jewels". I also tried hard candy for the first time - used a mold to make the heart and oval shapes that I also added as "jewels". Tiara's on cupcakes are fondant - used the star cutter and then cut off the bottom. Cake is covered in fondant - First attempt at swags. Fondant star wands on lollipop sticks with ribbon tied around.

Popcorn
I made this for my dd's 6th birthday. Her party had a movie night theme. This is definitely the fastest cake I ever decorated - 45 mins - finished right before guests arrived. I had something more elaborate in mind but, time ran out. Orders always seem to get done with the detail I want but not my own cakes. :-(
