Made this cake to look like a cross stitch. Used some craft canvass to imprint squares onto the fondant, but it was difficult making it straight after placing on the cake :o) Will do it differently next time. Everything is edible. Scissors, needle, and the adjustment clip on side are gumpaste. The pale pink leaves are a bit hard to see.
Crosses are made of gumpaste
5", 7" and 9" choc mud cakes with hazelnut filling. The stars are dusted with silver snowflake lustre dust. This one was lots of fun to make!

My first cupcake wedding cake, and my first bride and groom. It was lots of fun to make! Cupcakes are choc mud, white choc mud, and caramel mud.
6, 9 & 12". Bottom is choc mud, middle is white choc mud, and top is fruit cake. Covered in fondant and gumpaste roses. Dots are royal icing.
Scooter and dog are made out of gumpaste, with the base being a piece of MDF covered in gumpaste. I didn't realise until it was too late that I'd made a mistake with my lettering, but being red, it would have left a mark if I changed it, so I left it, being as it was only for a luncheon at our church. Can you spot the mistake???
A tower of 160 cake balls, half caramel and half cream cheese/raspberry. It took a lot longer than I thought!!
For a golden anniversary. They wanted very plain decorations. Flowers are gumpaste, painted with edible paint.
Wow, my first topsy-turvy wedding cake!! It was a bit nerve-wracking - especially the 1 hour drive to deliver it, but it made it safely. Top tier is white mud, middle tier choc mud, and bottom tier caramel mud. I pulled out my camera to take a photo and discovered the battery was flat!!!! Fortunately one of the caterers had a camera so I borrowed it but used my memory card to take some pics. Lesson leant!!!

A cake for twin sisters who love to shop! I was inspired by one of Aine2's cakes, I just wish I was as clever as her!! Oh, and I don't know whether the birthday girl who ordered the cake liked it or not, because she was out shopping when I delivered it :) and her husband took the cake.

For some good friends of mine, celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. Decorations are gumpaste.
I had trouble getting the lettering right on this one! I was quite frustrated by the end, then on my way to delivering it the flap of the box fell in and squished the fondant scallop on the front. Had to go home again and fix it. I was pleased to get rid of it! Flowers are gumpaste.
I've been asked by a local business to make one of these for each of their clients as their birthday comes around. The rocket is like the company "mascot", and the B is their logo.
This was for my Dad's 70th birthday. He used to own a Model T Ford like this one so Mum asked me to make one for the top of his cake. It is all gumpaste, except the windscreen which gelatine, and the wheel spokes, which are matchsticks. Bottom tier is 13" and top tier is 9".

This lady just ordered a star for her daughter's 6th birthday, and I thought that was a pretty boring order, so had to try and pretty it up for her :)
