I think this is the zillionth baby belly cake I've made! :) So this one was a little smaller then my usual. I used an 8" square for the base but kept the same ball pan for belly and mini ball pan for the chest. Baby Shower was Purple/Zebra themed.

This cake was for a graduation from Mount Saint Joe. This is a 'loose" replica of a tower that is on campus there. The base and tower part is all cake. The top roof part and the columns are made out of wood and is covered in fondant. The cross is fondant. There is an internal support of PVC pipe which is attached to a plywood base. It's hard to tell from the angle of the picture but the whole thing was about 2 feet tall.
This birthday cake was for a man from his wife for his birthday but was based on their wedding cake because his birthday was close to their 1 year wedding anniversary. Buttercream with fondant accents.

So this is like the 100th millionth baby bell cake I have done :) Two weekends in a row I had two of the exact same cakes to do (Baby Belly and Monkey Cakes) just in different colors w/ slight variations! So this one is 10" square cake with 1/2 ball pan for belly and 2 of the mini 1/2 ball pan for the chest. Buttercream on the base cake with fondant accents!
This is one layer of a Topsy Turvey Cake :) The customer didn't need to feed that many people but still wanted the shape. The Bow is gumpaste with a zebra stripe pattern and the cake is covered in buttercream, airbrushed a dark red and the polka dots are fondant.

Belly was made out of 1/2 ball pan and then used 1/2 mini ball pan for the chest. Base cake is 10" square. I assemble my belly off of the main cake on a separate board and then transfer to the base cake after it's partially assembled.
