Oh my gosh! I am trying to make a white chocolate bettercream filling for a wedding cake tomorrow, and I can NOT get it to whip up! I added the bettercream to the bowl, started whipping, made a paste out of white chocolate pudding and hot water(letting it cool) and then added them together. It had a funny taste, so I added some vanilla buttercream, and now it won't whip! I have been whipping it for 20 mins or so. can you not mix buttercream and bettercream?

No, you can't add buttercream to BetterCreme and expect it to whip. The fat in the buttercream ruins the BetterCreme.
I make the filling you're talking about all of the time. White Chico just "tastes different", but it's good. I also have clear chocolate extract that I add to it.
