Blue Cake Trauma!!!

APlease someone help me!!!!

Making my first rainbow lawyer cake and the blue layer (only the blue layer) shrinks to a size considerably smaller than the others. I've baked the blue layer 3 times now and always the same!!!!

Maybe I can ditch blue and use a different colour layer instead?!

If it's a 'lawyer' cake, then you are in trouble :D just kidding.

 

I'd suggest that you try baking  in a slightly larger pan, but then it would be thinner and you'd need more batter to make the depth..... what a puzzle this one  is.:detective:

The naughty blue layer was out if the same batch yes - it's a complete mystery!!!

Drove me crazy though! Glad the lady just collected the cake and it's gone!!!!
