I am going to have a booth at a local community market this weekend, where there will be hundreds if not thousands of people. I am going to bring several hundred cupcakes (haven't decided yet exactly how many). It's going to be a sunny 75 degree day. The frosting I use melts in the sun FAST -- it's a whipped cream/cream cheese based frosting. My cupcakes are usually stored in the fridge.

What can I bring to this event that won't cost me a fortune to help keep them cool? I have one mini fridge but it will only hold about 2 dozen cupcakes. I do have access to electricity but bringing a full size fridge seems extremely daunting. Does anyone have experience with this situation? I have a budget of about $100. I have scoured my local craigslist for items that might help but have found none so far.

The logistics of bringing several hundred cupcakes is one problem. Keeping them all chilled is another. Consider using a different frosting that can stand up in the sun. Otherwise you'll need to spend way more than $100 on keeping your stock chilled.
