AIf been trying to make lil cake snacks with icing like little Debbie's snack cakes. A friend told me to use chocolate morrsles and melt them down but it gets so hard on the cake and just makes a mess and I found that microwaving icing and pouring it on the cakes it just makes the cake mushy. Plz help me ;D

AI believe there is a lot of paraffin in those icings. That's why they never seem to have much flavor and are cheap. I can't help much more than suggesting that you try a recipe that uses paraffin.

I think I amPam is right, I saw a recipe on pinterest for one of those chocolate covered cupcakes with the white filling, and there was quite a bit of wax in the coating.

I would just google 'Paraffin chocolate coating'

Yup, paraffin and lots of chemicals, just read the ingredients label. I worked in their R&D lab and one time while working with the white coating a few drops were left in the sink, around the drain. The next morning I arrived at work to see the coating had eaten away at the stainless steel.
