ADoing my first wedding cake (first stacking cake too) and have a few questions.

1) Do you ice it before or after stacking? Or just a crumb coat?

2) Can you put pearl dust on fake flowers? Real flowers?

Its a three tiered cake would 10" 8" 6" tiers be to close together in size? I want it for 70 ppl.

Thanks

You ice it before stacking.

You can put pearl dust on sugar flowers - not sure if you mean fake - made of sugar, or fake - made of silk. I wouldn't put pearl dust on fabric or plastic flowers.

10/8/6 looks fine, in my opinion.

You will easily feed 70.

Meant to say, these tutorials will give you so much courage to do your cakes. I am a visual learner and over the years , tutorials on any cake subject has gotten me there.
