I HAVE A GANG OF CANDY MOLDS THAT I HAVE YET TO LEARN HOW TO USE WITH FONDANT FOR INSTANCE I HAVE A CREDIT CARD MOLD WITH THE VISA AN MASTER CARD LOGOS...HOW IT THE WORLD DO I GET THEM TO ACTUALLY LOOK LIKE A VISA AND MASTER CARD DOES THIS REQUIRE LEARNING HOW TO HAND PAINT THE FONDANT PERFECTLY THESE MOLDS HAVE PROVEN TO BE USELESS SO FAR AND I HAVE A GANG OF THEM THAT'S JUST ONE EXAMPLE THERE IS NO WAY I'M GOING TO BE ABLE TO PAINT THOSE CARD TO LOOK LIKE A MASTER AND VISA CARD DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS
ADepends on the medium you are using. Are you making them of chocolate? If so, you can paint each layer with colored chocolate then fill in the background color. If using fondant/gumpaste using different colors of fondant. In either case, you can mold then paint either with food coloring or cocoa paint.
YOU'RE OUT OF LINE TELLING/ASKING ME TO TURN OFF CAPS LOCKS EITHER ANSWER MY PROPOSED QUESTION OR IGNORE YOU DON'T KNOW ME OR THE REASON I TYPE IN ALL CAPS AND THAT WAS RUDE FOR YOU TO EVEN SAY TO SOMEONE YOU DON'T KNOW IN AN OPEN FORUM RESPECT ME AND YOU'LL BE RESPECTED I'M AN ADULT I FOUND THAT OFFENSIVE. I DON'T SEE ANY RULES BY THE CREATOR OF THIS SITE THAT SAYS YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TYPE IN ALL CAPITAL LETTERS.
AWOW , wow, wow. Do you not know that typing all in capital letters means that you are yelling and not politely asking a question? Anyways DeliciousDesserts answered your question, nicely.
SOME TIMES IT'S NECESSARY TO USE COMMON SENSE AND NOT ANTIQUATED PROPOSED ETIQUETTE...WHY WOULD I BE YELLING WHEN I'M THE ORIGINAL AUTHOR OF THIS THREAD WHO WOULD I BE YELLING AT AN WHAT PERSON IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD BE OFFENDED BY IT IN THIS INSTANCE PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE YOU OBVIOUSLY HAVE A MISGUIDED SENSE OF AUTHORITY AN NO DELICIOUS DESSERTS DID NOT ANSWER MY QUESTION PERHAPS IT'S BECAUSE YOUR FOCUS WAS ON THE WRONG THING ANY WAY PLEASE DISMISS YOURSELF SINCE YOU HAVE SUCH AN ISSUE WITH MY ALL CAPS FUTURE REFERENCE...NEXT TIME PERHAPS IT'S BEST YOU IGNORE THREADS WITH ALL CAPS LIFE IS EASIER THAT WAY GOOD BYE

She answered your question. Maybe you just don't SEE that she did.
HAPPY MOLD FILLING.
SHE DIDN'T ANSWER MY QUESTION....THE QUESTION WAS HOW DO YOU USE THESE MOLDS WITH FONDANT THAT WAS THE 1ST PART SHE STARTED HER ANSWER WITH AT QUESTION THAT I HAD ALREADY ANSWERED (Are you making them of chocolate?)... THE 2ND MOST IMPORTANT PART OF MY QUESTION...HOW IN THE WORLD DO I GET THEM TO ACTUALLY LOOK LIKE A VISA AND MASTER CARD DOES THIS REQUIRE LEARNING HOW TO HAND PAINT THE FONDANT PERFECTLY? FOLLOWED BY ANOTHER QUESTION? THERE IS NO WAY I'M GOING TO BE ABLE TO PAINT THOSE CARD TO LOOK LIKE A MASTER AND VISA CARD DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS? I KNOW HOW TO MELT DIFFERENT COLOR CANDY IN THE MOLDS I KNOW HOW TO LAYER THE DIFFERENT COLORS I'VE TRIED AND IT DOES NOT LOOK ANYTHING LIKE THE ACTUAL VISA/MASTER CARD NOT SURE IF YOU OR HER HAVE SEEN THE LASTEST LOOK OF THE CARDS BUT IT'S NOT A SIMPLE LOOK ESPECIALLY MASTER CARD....THE ONLY THINK I SEE THAT WILL ACTUALLY WORK IS USE EDIBLE IMAGES TO PUT ON TOP OF THE MOLDS....ANYWAY I DON'T THINK THIS IS THE RIGHT FIT FOR ME IF PEOPLE ARE GOING TO BE RUDE AND COME AT YOU ABOUT TYPING IN ALL CAPS YOU ALL CAN HAVE THIS IT'S NOT THAT SERIOUS TO GET STRESSED OUT ABOUT GOOD BYE
AI'm am truly sorry that you feel that I was being rude I was trying to help you. Hopefully you come back and look at this post. I googled and found a video for you about filling chocolate molds, it looks quite time consuming and I don't think you'll get the exact degree of perfection that maybe your expectations are for doing a small credit card but I might be wrong. Anyways here's the video.

AIf you were to do it out of fondant you would probably be best to do it out of white fondant and paint it, I know you said that you didn't want to do it that way but that probably would be the easiest way to do it out of fondant.
ATHIS SITE IS USED BY ALL TYPES OF PEOPLE AT ALL AGE RANGES AND ALL WALKS OF LIFE. PEOPLE MIS-SPELL, TEXT SPEAK, ETC. THERE IS NO RULE THAT ANYONE MUST FOLLOW AND THERE IS NO PARTICULAR RULE ABOUT HOW THEY TYPE.
STOP NIT PICKING THOSE THAT TYPE IN CAPS. WE HAVE WARNED AGAINST THIS IN THE PAST. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, MOVE ON TO A DIFFERENT THREAD. DO NOT TRY AND "EDUCATE" THE MEMBER. IT'S EXTREMELY CONDESCENDING AND OBNOXIOUS.
I HAVE DELETED THE ARGUMENTATIVE COMMENTS ON BOTH SIDES. PARTICIPATE IN THE THREAD IN A HELPFUL WAY OR MOVE ON TO ANOTHER THREAD.
AWell I must have missed something!
I certainly didn't meant to be condescending or argumentative. I believe I said please as a suggestion. I don't think there was anything rude about what or how I said it. As for being warned, never saw any such indication.
I fully aware that there are many kinds of people from many different cultures. It's hard to read all caps. I would certainly want someone to guide me in ways I might get more answers to my questions. Now that I know, ill be sure to be less helpful in case someone may find it offensive or hurtful.
You weren't even rude, and it's standard that people on the internet or otherwise don't write in caps. It's difficult to read and it wasn't even written in a condescending or argumentative tone, which is more then I can say for the mod response. A heads up to the OP to avoid it in the future didn't call for their, frankly trollish response or the weird heavy handed moding. If we're going all unicorn poop then you need to clean up the majority of the forum pretty fast.
And how many warnings do I get before I get banned?
Because certain members are more interested in testing the moderating boundaries then actually being helpful to the OP, I'm locking the thread.
