for rainbow cake in a jar. I know that cake in mason jars is trending right now, and it,s a very pretty way to serve cake, but I'm just not interested in handling 300+ degree jars or shattering a jar in my workspace. Don't think that girl was happy, but I couldn't live with myself if someone got hurt.   Not in a position to be sued over a hunk of glass showing up in a cake.  Just because a customer wants it doesn't make it a good idea.  Just MHO.
