ADoes anyone know where to buy raspberry ting a ling or candy crunch? I have been looking for this for years and haven't been able to find it. I'm looking for just plain raspberry not blue raspberry. Any help is much appreciated,
TIA, Kathie
AWhat am I looking for to make this? I went to the website and looked around. They don't have the candy crunch I'm looking for. How do I know what to buy to make my own?
Kat
Please, show us a picture of the blue raspberry version. We don't know what kind of candy this is anymore. But there are books of recipes of copycats of commercial candies, once we know what you are really looking for we can help.
Ahttp://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=VFwi2NROros&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DVFwi2NROros not sure if this is what you are looking for. This shows how to make something called candy crunch. The first website I gave you has different kinds of candy to put into white melted chocolate

AYou can buy candy crunch but I'm not sure if this is the flavor you want
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0008DI8QW/ref=redir_mdp_mobile?creative=395129&creativeASIN=B0008DI8QW&linkCode=asn&ref_=asc_df_B0008DI8QW2298212&smid=A2YD1L68H2K7UN&tag=dealtmp758547-20 just do a Google search and type in candy crunch you get several sites to choose from
AIn the website www.getsuckered.com you have to go to the search bar on the upper left side and type in candy crunch it brings up several flavors to choose from
AThanks everyone! The boysenberry is close, I'd have to try it to see what it taste like. I will also try making my own when I check out the other sites you've posted. It is used with white, dark, or milk chocolate, depending on what you like. A cake shop I used to go to carried it but they've been closed for a few years now. It must be a big secret where to get it, another cake shop wouldn't order it for me, or give me the name of the distributor they get it from. The owners daughter from the closed cake shop wouldn't give me the place they got it from either.
OK so it sounds like this is hard candy with extra citric acid added for zing. Any regular recipe for suckers will do.
I suggest you use the LorAnn FountainFlavor Red Raspberry flavouring and their Tart and Sour Flavor Enhancer for the zing.
You would have to pour the cooked candy out onto large sheet pans and spread it thinly while it is hot. Then crack it up when it has cooled.
ANot sure about the tart and sour. But the sucker idea sounds like it may be a lose start. Thx
