Another view of my first wedding cake. This one was taken at the venue with the topper. I thought the topper was a little too tall in relation to the cake, but that is what the bride wanted. I think a floral arrangement would have been really pretty. The reception site was kind of dark and they had this hideous and dirty carpeted riser thing stored behind the cake table. Thanks to many kind ccer's who helped on this one! I am glad it is over!

Oh how beautiful..How in the world did you do scroll work like that did you have a pattern? Great Job..I also wish my firstt had been that pretty. I so wish I had the talent of so many on here.. :D :cry:

This cake is just amazingly beautiful!!!! And I love the topper too but I agree the cake should've been a few tiers higher to make it all work in together lol but you did a wonderful job... maybe she needs to think about size next time lol ;)

Thank you everyone! I hope that she liked her topper anyway. My fear is that she walked in last night and thought it was too big too. It has grown on me a little, and I am pretty picky, so I hope it was okay with her.
