Seashell Wedding Cake
This cake was so pretty, nobody wanted to cut it. (We finally did.. lol) The top tier is marbeled, the middle tier is dark chocolate fudge, the bottom is french vanilla. All had white chocolate raspberry buttercream, then covered in ivory fondant. The shells are white chocolate. I used pearl luster dust on the entire cake and shells. Thanks for looking!
Sooooo elegant. I have a request for a seashell cake in September. Did you dust your white chocolate shells after they were hardened? :D
This cake has almost a spiritual quality. I love it. What an original way of doing shells.
It is just gorgeous.
And look at the cute little turtles! Very nice design.
I love this cake. simple but beautiful.
Very lovely. I can see why nobody wanted to to cut it.
I love this cake! I could look at this all day.
It is simply breathtaking!!!
Great job. This is soooo beautiful.
All I can say is WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very pretty. How did you do the bride and groom? They are nice.
Thank you everyone for your nice comments! I did dust the shells after they were hardened. I just dry brushed it on with a small paint brush. The bride and groom is a figurine the bride found, it actually lit up at the bottom of the figurine (only I forgot to take a picture of it lit up).
Absolutely stunning! I love the borders and choc. shells! And your cornelli lace is fabulous!
One of the most beautiful seashell cakes ever!! How did you get your cornelli lace so evenly spaced from the bottom on the sides??
Thank you everyone! This is by far my favorite wedding cake yet! Ladij, I used a strip of carboard that I placed against the side of the cake to make a straight line across. I used the same piece for each tier to that the blank space would be even on all three tiers.
Sooo beautiful! I wouldn't have wanted to cut it either!
Gorgeous!!!! Gorgeous!!! Gorgeous!!!!
