Chocolate Cake

This was actually a "saved cake". It is a chocolate cake covered in chocolate buttercrea. The buttercream was giving me problems, so I covered it in a chocolate ganache and made blue & brown chocolate pieces and just stuck it in there.....my neighbor said that her family finished it off in 36 hours!

Neighbor requested this cake. It is her G-ma's chocolate cake/icing recipe! They don't usually decorate it, but said I could do something sweet for them. It is for the end of a counseling class (Elijah house ministries) and that phrase is something from the class.....

B-Day Ritz Crackers

My friend is having a tea party themed party for her turning 2 year old daughter. She requested these to decorate the kids table. She saw decorated sugar cubes and wanted something similar so she came up with this....the kids will just lick the icing off cupcakes and cake so why bake????

The top bow is a real bow, obviously.....I ain't THAT good!! I wish I were. I comtemplated making it but didn't feel like fighting with the mm fondant!!! :)

Valentine's Day

I made this cake for Valentine's Day. It is a chocolate cake w/ chocolate frosting and fresh strawberries. It is supposed to resemble a heart jewerly box. The top is melted chocolate.
