I made these chocolate cake eggs for an Easter party we went to. They were from the Wilton Egg Molds. They are chocolate cake with buttercream and mmf over the top. They are decorated with colored chocolate and royal icing flowers.
This is my first tier cake. It has mmf over a white cake with Frostin Pride as the filling and decorating. The blue dolphins and lettering are chocolate. It was a big hit.

my attempt at a semi not easy. Truck was for a friend.
The idea came from the The Whimsical Bakehouse book. This cake ended up being a disaster! I transported it to my inlaws ( 65 mins away) and all the sides gave way leaving only the top frosting. I used the house buttercream recipe out of the same book and it did not hold up to heat and transportation.
