Winter Wonderland
This was made for a child's birthday party themed after Christmas. Everything is edible except for the characters. The client bought them and wanted them incorporated into a cake. Unfortunately you can't see all sides of the cake. I also made a fondant sack filled with Christmas ball candies.

Yule Log Greetings
This a cake I saw in Taste of Home. Upon seeing it I had to give it a try. The cake is a jelly roll style, with chocolate butter creme filling. The log is iced with ganache, the poinsettia and holly are made from wilton candy coating disks and corn syrup. It wouldn't have been complete without a sprinkling of snow ( powder sugar) .Happy Hoildays!

Nightmare On Buttercream Street
Well, here it is: my first official paid wedding cake. I can't go into too much detail here, but let's just say I had to rebake this cake 3 times, and fought the devil to get it accomplished. It's a nice, simple, easy buttercream wedding cake, right? It looks like a no-brainer, doesn't it? Well, after doing it, I have no brain left, or anything else! I'll post a thread with good explanation of this near fatal cake-tastrophy. Alas, though, the setup was successful....just hoping the bride likes it!
