This was for a birthday party with the theme Sixty, Sassy and Classy. The title fits the recipient. She's such a great person and I was honored to be asked to make her cake. And she doesn't look a day over 40.
Bride Doll Cake With Charms
Cake was baked in the wilton doll pan (yellow cake). I add another single layer at bottom to give me more height for the skirt. Inserted doll. The top of the dress is fondant, the skirt iced in buttercream. I placed the pink ribbon charms at the waist line just under the fondant and piped a lace design all over skirt. I made the veil, hot glued tiny pearl on it & made her flower bouquet and pearl necklace.
Baby On The Moon Cake
I made this cake for a baby shower. The cake is vanilla with a swiss meringue buttercream airbrushed in different blue's. The moon is made from modelling chocolate. The base of the moon is a hard candy recipe over a cake drum. The baby, crown and stars are all made from fondant.
Woodland Enchanted Forest Wedding Cake
I handcrafted each of the tiny wildflowers and berries you see here on the cake out of gum paste. I added feathers and 'old mans beard' around the wreath I had wired as I love to mix mediums in cake design. I was so lucky to have an incredible photographer friend Elena Popa Photo capture this cake in the perfect woodland setting, over in Wickerwood Farm East Sussex ( England)
For a friend's 75th birthday. Italian Cannoli Cake. Gold brushed over ganache with white chocolate lotus flower and buttercream pom pom and poppy flowers. Overall color scheme was gold, silver and red which matched the party perfectly!
Poinsettia Sugar Flower In Gum Paste
