Robin Hood With Dragon
I got to make this cake for my friend's son who loves Robin Hood and dragons. The body of the dragon was vanilla cake with raspberry filling and vanilla buttercream. The tail and head of the dragon were made out of Rice Krispie Treats. Little Robin Hood was gum paste, fondant, and modeling chocolate.

A very romantic vintage style cake for a young couple. The lovely bride wanted a floral cake and pointed out one of my vintage style cake as inspirations. I made the design and she was pleased. This one was absolutely within my comfort zone... my kind of cake! Once I finished I thought McKinley Wilton will be proud of me! White cake frosted and filled in buttercream. Roses, lilies and greenery in fondant. Piping in buttercream.
Here Comes The Train!
Another birthday cake for my sweet little rascal. He is stuck in the train stage...Doesn't want to let it go. Soooo, mom made a cake for him with a chocolate train. Of course, the rascal that he is complained: "Mom, I wanted a birthday cake... not a birthday tart!" Oh... where is Herod when I need him! Anyway, tart or cake he loved the train and the realistic landscape. The tart is called San Diego, is was originally designed to be a petit four. Base of sweet tart dough, one layer of chocolate hazelnut paste and the top layer of pistachio almond paste. Very rich and fulfilling indeed. Decorated with hazelnut-chocolate paste tracks and borders, ground pistachios, cocoa powder and tart dough crumbs.
