Autumn Images on Cake Central
Inspired by the orange hues of Autumn. I've been working on a PDF tutorial for this cake design and really (hoping) to have it in the shop by the weekend. It's a step by step - how to of all the elements shown ~ Mountain Ash berries, Peach Amaryllis, closed Peonies, frosted leaves, pleated petal tier, and glamour crackle. I hope it will be useful. Thanks for looking xx

Sweetautumncollaboration2016 -"the Odd Life Of Timothy Green".
I am Jacqueline van der Wal. I am a housewife from Amsterdam, The Netherlands and have 2 kids of my own, plus 4 ‘bonus’ kids and 4 grand kids. Cake decorating is my hobby and passion. It’s where I find my relaxation when I’m not spending time with my family. This cake I made because I love the movie . “The Odd Life of Timothy Green”. The falling leaves the colors of autumn. I just love the whole concept. This story is about a couple who unfortunately can not have children. They write their hopes and dreams on paper and put them in a box, which she buried in the backyard. Middle of the night they suddenly find a mud-smeared little boy into their home, who calls them Mom and Dad. He is the answer to all their dreams. However, they have no idea of the magic he possesses and how their view of love and of everyone around them will change forever. I hope you will enjoy my cake and who knows, maybe you will watch the movie…. https://www.facebook.com/groups/SweetAutumnCollaboration2016/ https://www.facebook.com/Jacakeline-460849510716593/?fref=ts
Sweet Autumn Collaboration 2016
Welcome to the page https://www.facebook.com/groups/1621038594873723/ This is a Dutch Cake Collaboration with artists at every level. Together we have tried to express in sugar art how we see the fall. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello, my name is Vanessa Schröer – de Heer from Wonderful Cakes. I live in Oss, Noord-Brabant in the Netherlands and I’m a proud mommy of 2 beautiful boys, Jasper & Benjamin. Because of the 1st birthday of my eldest son, I learned how to decorate cakes. Since then, 6 years ago, I have learned a lot more and made a lot of cakes. Next to my (part-time) job in a supermarket, cake decorating became my hobby and passion. I’m completely in my element when I’m decorating a cake, making sugar flowers or modeling figures. For the Autumn Collaboration I made this piece, ‘A huge autumn house’. My idea was to make a house with some figures next to it. It’s a piece of almost 45 cm high.

Sweet Autumn Collaboration
My name is Jennifer Troost, mom of 3 kids whit the age of 6, 8 and 11. I made my first cake for my daughter, about 4 years ago and ever since I made that cake I've been addicted to cake decorating. The theme is fall and I love fall, the gorgeous colors, the Indian summer and the lovely fall-food. I chose a tree trunk, not just any tree trunk but a beautiful weather beaten trunk that has a little branch growing on top of it and a tiny hedgehog who somehow ended up there. Lovely colored leaves around the trunk and some mushrooms around to top it of. Let fall arrive!
Weathered Pumpkin Ornament
Very little carving went into this one. I used two bundt pans and placed a top the other, and applied my weathered paint effect. For a more oblong pumpkin, I highly recommend the All-Star Cakes Craftsy class by Mike McCarey...it's excellent!
