Winter Igloo
I did this cake a few weeks after I finished wilton classes. Buttercream frosting for all of it and used shimmer dust to make the igloo sparkle. Cake was chocolate with peppermint filling. At the time I made the igloo w/ just a mound of frosting but I think using the mini ball or sports ball pan would make it easier.

I love this...did you use fondant or something else to make the penguins and walrus?
Actually I made the animals out of buttercream too. They had the instructions for them in a Wilton book
