First Mmf Attempt
This is my very first cake, so I decided to try to make and use some MMF for the first time. Turned out better than I had expected it to....but was WAY harder than I had anticipated!! The kids loved it so that makes is a success for me.
I think that for a first time cake you did a fine job. my first time with fondant, i had alot of cracking and a few holes. looks like you did just fine. welcome to the wonderful world of cake decorating :)
OK, I'm upset. I have yet to cover a 9x13 (is that what yours is?) with fondant without a bunch of cracking so I always make a huge border all around the base. Your first cake is AWESOME!
Great job! I can't believe your first cake out of the gate is an MMF cake. Took me MONTHS to find the courage to go beyond buttercream!
