My family would agree with yours. Especially my son. He is a JR fan.. But evenfor a Gordon cake it looks great. Sorry I can't say AWESOME or I will get my BUTT spanked. I had to do a Gordon cake (not car cake) for a friends sister and the acted like they were going to smash it everytime the came in the room. So I feel your pain. Hey sons 16th B-Day is coming in Dec. That is a thought. Is that a NASCAR cake pan???

It came out of a RaceCakes kit that I bought at Sam's club a long time ago. I saved the pan in case I would have an excuse to use it again. If I ever flip it for my husband, I thought Hershey's syrup would make a great oil spill. Maybe some blue cotton candy for smoke. If you're son is a Jr. fan, you'll have to check out the one I did for my daughter's 8th bday. Thanks for the compliments. It was a very difficult cake to work on with the family and all.
