6" 10" 14" square stacked offset wedding cake. The bride wanted the stucco look. The flowers are delphiniums, which were difficult to work with but I was pleased with the result.
Actually, I just threw the icing on then touched the icing with the knife and pulled away. Then lightly "smoothed" the icing. Thank you for the comments. I love this place!
I used the Wilton Buttercream icing recipe. The hardest thing for me was to not make it perfect. I literally slaped it on. Once the cake is iced messily, just touch the icing with your knife and pull away. You'll see the effect and feel the rest. Good Luck!! I can't wait to see your cake and congrats on the addition to the family.
My future daughter-in-law has asked me to make her cake. She wants your stucco look. Any tips? What kind of icing did you use Tami Perfect Buttercream Recipe? I can't wait to try it! Thanks for any suggestions!
