Yes, I put one stripe of dark green and opposite that a stripe of light brown. Both were pretty thick stripes. The tip was the smallest rose tip I could find and the movement was up and down, not arched like you would make a rose. Other than that, it was pretty much adding on row after row until it was as full and long as I wanted it. The are about 1 1/2" in length. Hope this helps!
