The "ice" is actually the glass ice shaped "marbles". I have seen others do this with jello. I put the cake in the cooler for a while before the reception so that when we put it on the table the ice and beer bottles started sweating. it really made the I ce glisten.
Oh, and the one thing I learned on this cake.... It's really better to empty the beer bottles. I used the small bottles (I think they are like 6 ozs.) but they are still much too heavy for the cake. The empty ones work much better.

this is so cute this is nore less the idea I was going for my husbands b-day cake it's simple and don't need to spend too much time on it .I'm new at all of this so I'm trying to get ideas.
