very pretty!! are the sides done with an impression mat? I haven't used one of those yet but I love the look. Where do you get them?

The pattern is done with an impression mat. It is really easy. I got this mat from Earlene Moore's web site a few years ago. A local store now carries these and others like dots and stripes. The secret is to let your icing crust well then dust with powdered sugar and/or cornstarch before making the impression.

Beautiful, I have the mats but haven,t used them yet. I didn't really know how. Thanks for the tip about dusting the buttercream first.
