Blue Hawaii
Nope, not named after the movie!! Just a simple cake for the family, gumpaste lilies, airbrushed cake, and edible non-perils. I like the royal blue A LOT but some of the guests said it didn't look good. (I'm sure they didn't mind whining as they were scarfing it down!!!)

It's lovely and just did a navy blue cake last month for a cake show. But I am with your guests, I just can't like eating blue icing for some reason.
I would eat that blue icing in a heartbeat! The lilies are gorgeous, so lifelike I almost sneezed.

How rude of them to complain about the color! Do they realize how much work is involved?! I think the blue looks great, and is a great contrast to the lilies! GOOD JOB!!!!!!!!! :) :)
