Horse Stable
One of my favorite (and most time consuming!) cakes. All the horses were made from sugarpaste and were individually shaped and colored to look like their real-life counterparts. They even had name tags! Flowers were made from fondant, ground is buttercream. The "stable" was actually styrofoam and covered with fondant also.
wow that's awesome! I would have been floored to receive a cake like this when I was little! - of course, if someone gave it to me now, I'd still be excited! It's a great idea - did you just put toothpicks in the horse's heads & then put into the styrofoam stable?
