Castle Cake

Castle Cake on Cake Central

Thanks to laborrn2 for this cake design!!! I pretty much copied everything she did. The top layer is chocolate and the bottom is yellow. They both have the extender recipe added. This cake was fun. I still have to drive it 45 minutes away....so I'm praying that it will make it.

Beautiful!!! How did you get the "cinched" turret look? I'm making one of these this weekend, and would love to know!

That looks so good! You did an awesome job on this castle cake. I think I may have to just go out and find a little girl that needs some cake just to have an excuse to make one of these!!! :)

The turrets are 2 flat-bottomed ice cream cones, one upsidedown and the other one rightside up on top of it glued together with BC. The tops of the turrets are ice cream sugar cones covered in BC and dipped in colored sugar crystal sprinkles. EVERYTHING is BC.

I love it!! I think I'm going to gave to copy it for a sand castle cake!! Using 2 of the flat ice cream cones for the turrets was a great idea!
