Pratice Wedding Cake

Pratice Wedding Cake on Cake Central

This is a pratice wedding cake for a dear frinds wedding. The bride wanted to see what it would look like. The flowers are slik...I know..ick. I do not know how to do gumpaste flowers yet. It is a white butter cke, with white buttercream frosting. It is covered in white fondant and the ribbon is pink fondant. The cake it self is very small. The base is 8 inch, the middle 6 and the top 4 (ish). Thanks for looking :-)

There's nothing wrong with putting good silk flowers on a cake! Your work is just wonderful. I'm sure your friend will be ecstatic with the real thing when the Big Day arrives! :D p.s.: I just LOVE your screen name! I think we all feel that way sometimes!

It's really beautiful, and the silk flowers look very nice (especially in pictures!). However, if you don't want to use them for the wedding, you can order gumpaste flowers from www.wholesalesugarflowers.com :D
