Orchids And Shells
This is just to show my first try at hand-molded fondant letters! We had about 20 minutes to decorate a plain, white supermarket cake (the bride's favorite cake--go figure). Maid of Honor brought orchids, white chocolate seashells and (the thinnest?!) gold ribbon for the sides. I made the gold-dusted fondant letters in advance, and we decorated it at the market. We were pleased, considering our limitations!
Your letters dressed the cake up beautifully. It turned out very nice (even with the supermarket cake!) :)

Thanks everyone! I made the letters as small as I could yet they still had to be crammed onto the cake- doh! The shells were actually bought on the internet, although I would love to claim them as my own. I think we should have put more on the cake but we were sooo pressed for time. Oh also the security guard was standing over us commenting on LITERALLY everything we did "OK, that's enough shells" "Put it more to the right" - we were like: "Go away!!!" LOL!
